1890 House Path Through History
June 14 @ 12:00 pm - June 15 @ 4:00 pm

On June 14 & 15, from 12pm to 4pm, the grand stone silhouette of the 1890 House beckons curious souls for I LOVE NY’s Path Through History Weekend.
Once the opulent home of industrialist Chester Wickwire, the mansion is now a monument to the strange echoes of Cortland’s Gilded Age. Behind its ornate doors lie towering staircases, lavish halls… and more than a few lingering questions. Who whispers through the servant’s quarters? Why do certain rooms seem colder than others? And what secrets remain sealed beneath the stone?
Join a guided tour (offered on the hour at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm), explore special exhibits, and enjoy light refreshments—if you dare linger. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $5 for children 18 and under. Purchase online or at the door—just know, not all who enter the 1890 House emerge unchanged.
Plan your weekend of curiosity and history at the 1890 House event page—and prepare to walk a path where the past is very much alive. Admission: Adults $15, Seniors $12, and Children 18 and under $5. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
